• Conduct video interview: The kazam platform allows you to conduct online interviews. Seeing the user and engaging with them in real-time can help you gauge their intentions. You can also double check if the IDs they sent matches the person you are talking with.
• Use the GPS feature to verify location: You can double check the location of users with the GPS feature especially if they are asking for assistance in transportation.
• Never send money: Never send money or share your financial details with anyone online, especially if you didn’t initiate the request.

Spotting Potential Scams:

• Suspicious requests: Be wary of requests for money (pera padala), unusual fees, or sharing personal information.
• Low salary, with a lot of skills and experience: If the user says they are highly skilled and experienced, but their salary is below or at the minimum threshold, then this may be too good to be true. Beware!
• Demanding messages: Be cautious of messages that demand immediate action or threat of missing out on their services.
• Be wary of users who refuse Video Chat: Users who avoid real-time interaction may signify that they have questionable motives.
• Requests to move off-platform: Be hesitant to move conversations off the kazam platform.
