DOST-PCIEERD awards funding to kazam™ under the Startup Grant Fund Program

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST–PCIEERD) is funding the project Enhancement and Market Validation of kazam™ (an online matching platform) for kasambahays and homeowners.  This grant under the DOST-PCIEERD Startup Grant Fund Program will support Azcalun Inc.’s research and development activities toward translating kazam™ into a market-ready product.

kazam™ helps Kasambahays and Homeowners who want to connect directly to each other by offering them a simpler, safer, and smarter way to meet online.

Azcalun Inc. is a 100% Filipino-owned startup that seeks to enhance the quality of our fellow Filipinos’ lives by using technology to solve real-world problems.  kazam™ is Azcalun’s first project.

The Philippine Council For Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research And Development (PCIEERD) is a government agency under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).  It is mandated to serve as the central agency in the formulation of policies, plans, and programs as well as in the implementation of strategies in the industry, energy, and emerging technology sectors.

The Startup Grant Fund Program was launched by DOST-PCIEERD in 2021 to support technology-based startups in translating their early stage technologies into market ready products.
